First Peoples Festival

Every June, there is a festival to celebrate the First Nations. In Canada, we say First Nations instead of Indian or native. The festival is mainly in and around Place des Festivals at Metro Place-des-Arts.  Some events are in the National Library of Quebec (Metro Berri-UQAM) and also at the National Film Board nearby. There are films, traditional dance performances, booths where you can get information about First Nations around Montreal and in Canada and much more.

For more information, check the First People’s Festival website.
