In the fall, from the end of September to October you can see beautiful leaves in red, orange, yellow and gold from maples and other trees. Quebec is famous for the beautiful colours in the fall. You can see nice leaves in Mount Royal Park.
There are three easy ways to go up the mountain:
- You can walk up the mountain on stairs at the top of Peel Street downtown.
- You can take the 165 bus north from Metro Guy-Concordia. Get off at the stairs at the top of the hill and walk up.
- You can take the 97 bus west from Metro Mont-Royal (Orange Line) to the top of the mountain.
Or, go to Angrignon Park (Metro Angrignon), or go to Jean Drapeau Park (Metro Jean-Drapeau, yellow line) and walk around to enjoy the beautiful colours. There are also some nice maple trees in the Old Port on Bonsecours Island (Metro Champ-de-Mars).
Get out and enjoy the colours before they are fall off and the winter comes!
